[unfinished post from yesterday!]
AHH I AM TIRED NOW BUT I FEEL THE URGE TO UPDATE! :D
today was another long day. rockclimbing during PE was evil! we got the cursed wall again & we obviously couldn't climb properly! jacq & eden climbed today and it was really difficult. YAY WE'RE GETTING THE EASY WALL TMR(:
i'm not gonna blog about the very boring day at school.
after school, i made debby come with me to great world for the physics movie screening cum forum thingy. we cabbed there and were almost late. I WAS NICE AND I PAYED THE CAB FARE! :D we saw mrs quah and she gave us the tix. it's really cool okay! the tickets were the normal GV tickets and there was X-MEN: THE LAST STAND printed on it. so cool right. i can go around showing it to people and they'll be like, HUH HOW COME X3 IS STILL SHOWING! okay i am lame, nevermind.
i sat with debby and bea tan. behind us were some irritating guys who kept telling us to SHH whenever we started talking/giggling. i love james marsden! cyclops with the
supercooool sunglasses! too bad he got killed so fast. i really like him okay! it's like at first, i told debby that he was hot and she disagreed. but when she finally agreed with me, HE DIED! no more eye candy. maybe except ANGEL, who's so cute & hot!
debby: he (angel)'s so cute i want to marry him!
me: but don't you have ender already?
debby: oh yeah.
me: you could, like, marry both of them!
debby: no i want enderrrr! (:
on the whole, X3 really truly rocked! i haven't watched it before. debby kept asking me questions and i was like, "debby, i haven't watched it before either!" so i decided to bug BEA who got kinda irritated i think(:
after the movie, bea insisted we stayed for the credits but i was like, "NO CAN WE PLEASE GO NOW? MY BLADDER IS
KILLING ME!" so as we were walking up the steps, the credits ended and we watched the short part after the credits. so stupid la. debby and i didn't understand and we had to get bea to explain.
the FORUM after that was the best everrr(: i liked the 4 cool professors! 2 caucasians and 2 chinese. one caucasian reminded us of mr hogan. there was one chinese professor who was damn smart! he talked, like, the most. gosh we learnt so much about BIOCHEM. i'm interested in it now! it's such an ALIVE field, unlike other subjects like LAW. i guess that's why it's so popular.. so we learnt about evolution & mutation. it was really interesting & informative! we learnt that females are the default gender & males are
mutant females :D and that in a million/billion years, there will be no more guys on earth 'cause the Y-CHROMOSOME thingy is deteriorating and disappearing. we also learnt that the whole european population came from 7 women. this could be traced from the mitochondria or sth.
and another thing.
professor: oh did you know that actually, 20% (or was it 10?) of chinese are mongolians, like, descendents of genghis khan?
all of us: really? cool!
professor: yeah. actually there's a way to check. do you guys have any little brothers of sisters? if they had bluish backsides when they were young, they have mongolian blood.
me: OMG. MY SISTER!
liting: OMG. MY BROTHER!
me & liting: AHH! HAHAHAHAHA.
me: let's matchmake our siblings!
liting: my brother is only 2!
me: nevermind la. oh wait. then are we mongolians too?
mongolians are dark skinned right. maybe that's why i'm dark skinned! :D
